 Here is my recipe for a beautiful concealer you can make yourself!  Step 1.  Clean out a mason jar.  Step 2.  Fill a quarter of the mason jar with a foundation a few tones darker than your skin  Step Three.  Fill the rest of the jar with your favorite moisturizer  Step Four.  Add 1. Tablespoon of water.  Step Five. Mix the contents of your jar.  Step Six.  Let the jar sit at room temperature for three hours.  Step Seven.  Apply liberally to your face and blend. 

 I was thinking it might be time to customize some of my  pieces of clothing. Join me!  Now, before you immediately start cutting up your priceless ball gowns, sketch it out! Choose an item from your closet, and think of things you want to change about it. Sketch it out on regular paper, or get a fashion design notebook/app.  This is the item I selected. Here are three things I want to change- first of all, it is quite baggy. Second, I want to make it stand out more. Third, I want to add new texture. So I sketched out my new ideas. Next, I marked the areas I wanted to cut with a fabric marker.  After that, I took out the string and replaced it with  rainbow yarn.  Then I cut the sleeves to shorten it, and the results were fabulous! I might add sequins though . . .

(One time I remember saying, I love glitter almost as much as I love horror movies)  I’m a mystery wrapped in an enigma.  When I’m feeling extra emo, here are my fave songs to listen to while wearing my black “luxury” sweatpants and my dad’s brewery t-shirt.  What does emo mean anyway? Well, when a person describes themselves as emo, they usually mean they are “especially sensitive to emotions” which I think is actually nice. When people are talking about emo music however, they usually mean heavy metal or grunge rock. That is not the style of music I am into. I like music that is emotional, and a little sad or wistful.  And, just for any of y’all who were curious, YES.  Here is a quick, simple, and HEALTHY recipe for AMAZING lollipop treats kids will enjoy!  1. Line a baking tray with a silicone pad.  2. In a small bowl, whisk up 4 tablespoons of honey (makes about ten lollipops) with a fork.  3. Add a pinch of cinnamon.  4. In three separate ramekins, squeeze some orange juice, lemon juice, and lime juice.  5 divide the honey into the three ramekins equally.  6. Color ten toothpicks orange, yellow, and green to keep track of which flavor is which.  7. Dollop ten small blobs of honey on the baking tray.  8. Stick a toothpick that corresponds with the flavor in each blob.  9. Freeze overnight.  10. Enjoy!

 Would you like to have an effortlessly natural makeup look? Well I did some research as well as some trial and error, and I have come up with a great natural makeup step by step for you!  1. Take a dab of foundation that is a little darker than your skin tone, and put the blob on the back of your hand. Mix it with a larger blob of moisturizer. Continue mixing until you have your skin tone nailed down.  2. Use a brush specifically for applying foundation (blush brushes will get crusty easily) to smooth it all over your face.  3. Apply a lip gloss and blot with a makeup wipe.  4. Use a tiny bit of mascara, and pinch your eyelashes with a paper towel. 5. If you wish, apply a tiny bit of blush and blend in with more moisturizer.  Hello gorgeous! 

 It is always sad to say goodbye to craft supplies, but, like spiders, it is a necessary evil. So measure each item against the criteria on this list.  For Tools (scissors, sewing machine, etc)  Is it broken? (Throw it away)  Is it old? (Throw away or save for sentimental purposes in a separate box)  Is it for a hobby you no longer participate in? (Throw it away)  Did you buy it for a hobby you planned on starting but never actually started (hello old quilling needles!) THROW IT AWAY  Does it take up a lot of space? (If you use it more than once a month, keep it. If not, throw it away)  Was it expensive but you don’t use it? (give it away to a friend)  If none of these apply, keep it!  For Bits and Bobs (glitter, Googly Eyes, pipe cleaners, etc)  Do you use them for only one project?  Have people been saying your sweatpants make you look like an old man with depression? Anybody? Nope? Just me then. Anyway, you’ll need some string, a needle, pins, a pincushion, beads, fabric scissors, and some pretty ribbon.  1. Get your sweatpants ready. Make sure they are a few sizes too big (use the above photo as a reference) so they stay nice and comfy. Wash them and let them dry. You always have to wash fabric before sewing it.  Pull out the waistband string.  2. Shorten them   Cut off the cuffs  You can use a ruler for precise lines. Roll up the ends until they become shorts. This is why it is important to make sure the sweatpants are baggy - as they roll up they get smaller.  Using the needle and thread, sew the cuffs in place. You can use a sewing machine, but it is harder to keep from accidentally sewing the two sides together.  3. Finishing up  Replace the waistband string with the ribbon. Sew on your beads with the needle and thread.  Enjoy your new chic shorts!
