How to customize a hoodie

 I was thinking it might be time to customize some of my  pieces of clothing. Join me! 

Now, before you immediately start cutting up your priceless ball gowns, sketch it out! Choose an item from your closet, and think of things you want to change about it. Sketch it out on regular paper, or get a fashion design notebook/app. 

This is the item I selected. Here are three things I want to change- first of all, it is quite baggy. Second, I want to make it stand out more. Third, I want to add new texture. So I sketched out my new ideas.

Next, I marked the areas I wanted to cut with a fabric marker. 

After that, I took out the string and replaced it with 

rainbow yarn. 

Then I cut the sleeves to shorten it, and the results were fabulous! I might add sequins though . . .

 Here is a handy to do list now that the Christmas season is really upon us. I hope this will help you stay organized while appreciating the spirit and joy of this holiday. A Socially Awkward Teen

 Hi! So recently, I decided to go shopping. I’m not normal a huge shopper, but it was my great grandma’s 90th birthday and I needed a nice dress for pictures. So I decided to go to Ross Dress For Less. Don’t judge me. Now, as you probably know, in a Ross Dress For Less, anything goes.  Anyway, I was having trouble finding a dress that I would wear to a 90th birthday party and not a Vegas Night Club. But I just couldn’t. So I decided I would probably wear something I already had.  But, being the homeschooled quarantine socially awkward teen that I am, I was so petrified that someone would think I had done something wrong if I didn’t buy a dress. So I got a dress and headed to the fitting rooms. I got my clothes number and headed to a stall. The lock was a bit janky but I managed. I went back out and headed for my cart but was stopped by a worker who said I needed to give him my card. I did not have my card.  He forced me to go back to the changing room TWICE but I couldn’t find anything

Easiest Slime Recipe

  This is such an easy slime recipe you’ll hardly believe it!  Just mix up 4 cups of shaving cream, four tablespoons of contact solution, and 2 cups of glue. Add food coloring if you want. Then you just mix it until it feels like your arm will fall off. Easy as that.  Have fun slime makers!
