A Schedule for Productive Weekend Crafting

Sleep in - dreaming always enhances my creativity. Doze off listening to an inspiring podcast or audiobook or music, and wake up whenever you want. Read in bed for awhile too- preferably something in the fiction or fantasy genre.

Once you are ready, put on clothes that you don’t mind getting messy in, like sweatpants and a tshirt.

After a quick breakfast (don’t check your phone!!!!) head over to your designated crafting space.

1. Organize your craft supplies, to make for easier use. Skip this step if you are already pretty well organized.

2. Make a list of the things you need to or want to accomplish. Then make a list of the supplies you’ll need.

3. Gather your supplies.

4. Turn on some music.

5. Complete your craft list. If you get stuck or have artist block, read a book for a few minutes, get a glass of really cold water, and open a window.

6. Display your finest work where all your family and friends can admire it.
