Makeup Challenge

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t been posting in a while. Things have gotten crazy. But I am back to blogging and being my creative self! So I started a makeup challenge. I love doing my makeup in the morning before school. I went to a website where you can make a wheel and add makeup looks to it and spin it around to let it pick a look at random. So I will be doing these looks and posting tutorials on here as well as posting some other content. It sure feels good to be back, and I hope you’ll follow along on my journey with me also.

The wheel selected colorful makeup, which should be fun! Watch the tutorial below to see how to do your own colorful makeup ❤️🩷✨

It’s actually not really a tutorial and more a crazy video of me running around trying to put on makeup at 1 AM.

I will be showing some finished photos below. To keep anonymous I’ve just done some close ups of different aspects of the makeup look. I can’t wait to see what the wheel chooses next. This was quite the start! Stay tuned to see the next challenge.

The products I used were actually very simple. I used Elf flawless satin foundation which is great bc it is cruelty free. I was the shade pearl which is better than being the shade ghost in some Sephora foundations. For some highlighter I used Wet and Wild hello halo blush/lighter which I use in every day makeup. As sort of a lipstick primer I used Elf glow reviver lip oil in the shade red delicious. Then for all the colors I used Revolution Reloaded Spirited Love pallet as well as a Beauty Treats limitless essentials 30 matte and shimmer eyeshadow. The Revolution pallet is way more pigmented which is good for looks like this, and the Beauty Treats pallet has some nice cream eyeshadows for a more subtle look.
After all of this I had to take care of my skin. I gave up on using makeup wipes after I heard what they can do to your skin, so now I double cleanse. I use Neutrogena deep clean cream cleanser for big makeup looks like this. On a more day to day basis I use La Roche-posay purifying foaming cleanser which feels more gentle on my skin. Then I finish off with an overnight mask— Medicube collagen jelly cream which makes my skin glowing by the time I wake up.
See you soon for what the new wheel makeup challenge has to bring, as well as more fun posts from the Cool Christian Crafter. Bye!
