Ten Craft Ideas for Experienced Crafters

Are you bored with simple projects circulating the internet? Here are 10 super challenging art projects for you to take on!

1. Photo realism

This is THE most challenging painting types, and here’s how to do it!

First, visit this website -

https://www.carolefeuerman.com/blog/2020/12/28/how-to-make-paintings-look-more-realistic

to get an introduction into photo realism. Then take a photo -

(You don’t have to paint my dog. In fact, that would be kind of creepy.)
Then, blend up just the right colors -

And slowly begin your work!

2. Watercolor

Trust me, it is harder than it looks.

3. Learning to play a complicated instrument is quite challenging.

I usually base my songs off of poems by Shakespeare. My favorite sonnet is here - https://poemanalysis.com/william-shakespeare/sonnet-66/

Warning - it is a bit gruesome.

4. Poetry itself

It is so hard! This is a poem I wrote for my grandma’s birthday -

Grandmama, happy birthday.

This day is a special day,

not because of the food or the games

but because we are celebrating a wonderful gal

A friend to all, a mother, a pal

Grandmama, you make every day full of life and cheer

And You’ve taught me so much throughout the years

and the knowledge and wisdom you’ve brought to light

will remain with me all my life

I wish I could give you the full celebration you deserve,

but alas, no party can tell you how much I love you, girl

You let others lean on you, not you on others.

You are more than a granny and mother

even though your child is an adult,

You’ll always be there with never ending love.

You are a mother-in-law who also acts as a friend,

and you bring out the best in both of those positions towards Dad.

You are the best grandmother, I feel so blessed in every way

Every day when I walk down the stairs and see your smiling face I know that it will be another great day.

Every night when I close my door and I can here you say

 Another Great Day

I smile and know that tomorrow will be another good one too.

Because my grandmother is you.

5. Scrapbooking

Something about it just seems so hard! But if you follow my dear friend Judith Cassel Mamet online, it can become so easy! Mrs. Mamet specializes in mixed media and watercolors. We email sometimes. ☺️❤️

6. Dog photography

They move around so much and hardly ever sit still, making it very challenging!

7. Screenwriting

I recently took the very popular Mamma Mia movie and completely rewrote the script as a present for my mom!

Mommy mommy, how you thrill me, aha mommy mommy!

8. Macrame

Somehow, I can never master this! Got any tips for me?

9. Baking

You have to get it down to an exact science!

Check out my confetti cake recipe! Not exactly as healthy as I would like, but still. . .

10. Blogging

It ain’t easy, but I love it! And I love you guys! So have a great day and know how much God loves you!
