Millionaire Shortbread

This is my go-to sweet treat recipe, everyone is obsessed! There’s a thick layer of buttery shortbread topped with creamy peanut butter caramel and covered in crunchy chocolate with peanuts. We all love to dip the cookie in our morning coffees or for a little dessert. I hope you enjoy this quick recipe!

For Shortbread:

2 sticks of softened butter

3/4 cup of powdered sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 cups sifted white flour

1/3 cup of water

For Caramel:

1 cup white sugar

6 tablespoons salted butter

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup chunky peanut butter

For decoration:

Chopped peanuts

Chocolate to taste

Sea Salt Flakes

Whisk up the shortbread cookies. Cut into bars. Bake at 325 for 5-10 minutes, until soft and yummy.

Place a bar in each mold. Chill while making caramel.

Whisk up caramel until slightly thickened. Spread on shortbread. Add dark chocolate and nuts and salt.

Let cool until solid when popped out.
