Christmas to do list:

Here is a handy to do list now that the Christmas season is really upon us. I hope this will help you stay organized while appreciating the spirit and joy of this holiday. We all know they can get a little stressful, but if we keep organized and focus on blessings and gratitude, there is nothing we can’t handle.

1. Put up your decorations. You can go minimal or bold but we all know the importance of some decor. Hopefully the second your tree is up you’ll instantly feel more Christmasy.

2. Volunteer or help someone in need. This is a little cat with special needs. Sometimes he wobbles when he walks. I love him. Spread the Christmas love this season.
3. Dream of a white Christmas, and take advantage of the snow days we do have. Snowball fights, snow angels, sledding, the possibilities are endless. Spend these days outside and don’t waste them. Take the days off from responsibilities.
4. Do your Christmas baking. Package up boxes to send to neighbors and family.
5. Test out Christmas recipes. I like the green Christmas foods: here is a cranberry (red and green!) salad, and spinach Parmesan rolls.
6. Hide elves for the little ones.
7. Make a Christmas drink like hot chocolate.
8. Test out new veggie recipes.
9. Make sure your furbabies are warm!
10. Make your Christmas dog treats.
11. Plan the meals you’ll eat on Christmas. Spinach pasta and lemon broccoli below.
12. Do a Christmas craft. I made this camel for a nativity with markers and then clear nail polish for a shiny finish.
13. Pick out Christmas flowers. Remember pointsettias are bad for your pets.
14. Do your pet Christmas shopping. Pookie loves her Christmas toy and new biker vest.
15. Break out the winter clothes! Stay warm out there!
16. Get your tree!
17. Get your stockings!
18. Enjoy seasonal winter fruits!
19. Cozy up by the fire with a book and a fuzzy blanket.
20. Try new Christmas makeup looks.
21. Make sure to spend time with your loved ones.
22. Enjoy a fancy dinner out. You deserve a break from cooking.
23. Book your holiday travel plans.
24. Do your Christmas shopping for humans now.
25. Make a Christmas treat just for yourself!
26. Decorate your house with lights.
27. Make some of your own ornaments and hang them on the tree.
28. Complete a cozy winter puzzle.
