Prosthetic Ideas

 Coming up is the first big shoot of my next movie, so to get in the mood I’ve been playing around with prosthetic hangnails.  To make it, take your wax or prosthetic and apply it to the fingernail with your spirit gum. Add a fresh coat on top. Then add a dab of arterial blood spray and if your hangnail is supposed to be old, a bit of coagulated blood or scab gel. Don’t worry: the following video is completely prosthetic and fake blood. I know it looks real 

Yummy homemade dog treats

Iniga had just licked the peanut butter spoon. All the ingredients are safe and she loves them!  For Treats:  Mix 2 and a half cups of homemade oat flour  1 whisked egg  1 cup of water  1 tablespoon natural honey  2 cups of completely natural peanut butter  Whisk, and scoop into balls, bake for about eight to ten minutes at 350 degrees F.  For icing:  Mix 1 cup of peanut butter and 2 tablespoons of honey. Dip the cooled cookie in the icing then refrigerate for 2 hours to let it harden.   

Thanksgiving Quiz

 Now that thanksgiving is coming up, it’s time to focus on gratitude. So take this mini- quiz to find out what to be thankful for this year. There are so many things to be thankful for! Best Healthy Meals for this time of year

  1. Yogurt wit honey, granola, and berries  2. A chopped plum  3. Pasta with spinach and Parmesan, with whole wheat crostini.  4. Cheesy garlic loaf. I made a spinach paste with Parmesan, then spooned it in between homemade healthy bread dough.  5. Pear and blue cheese cranberry spinach salad for the family.  6. Chia pudding with coconut, berries, and plum.  7. Nut cranberry salad with cheese and homemade quinoa crackers.   8. POTATOES and lemon pepper asparagus!  9. Trinete la pesto.

Homemade Impossible Meat

  Realistic looking, realistic tasting pulled pork made from zucchini and cucumber. Shred two large zucchinis and two small cucumbers for five servings of pulled pork.  Mix up the sauce:  1 tablespoon spicy mustard  2 limes juiced (save zest for later)  1/4 cup chili powder  1/4 cup garlic powder 4 tablespoons salt (save half a teaspoon for later)  Prepare the pan: Sprinkle the half a teaspoon of salt, the lime zest, and a light dot of olive oil. Let heat until salt is bubbling.  Make the pork:  Add your “pork” and drizzle with sauce. Cook until all the water has boiled off and your beautiful pork remains. Cucumbers are quite watery. Constantly stir for the desired texture.  Once the water has boiled off, add another small splash of oil to crisp up the meat.  If you want to make hamburger patties skip this step, and form the still-wet fake meat into circular patties and grill.

Morning Motivation

  You are not responsible for your emotions. You are responsible for your actions. The emotions you feel are the brain’s way of sending subconscious signals to your heart. These emotions might signify what you need to do next for your emotional and physical health. Sadness may mean you need to cry on a friend’s shoulder. Fatigue may mean you need to exercise and eat healthier. This is why it is important to feel all your emotions. They are just little messages telling you what you need.  For the people who feel no control. That painful emotion may be misinterpreted as a signal to try your best to control everything. The people around you, even leading you to repress your own emotions and turn into a people pleaser or an uptight control freak. So here is the best advice I have.  Take a step to the side.  You don’t need to leap ahead, be in control of everything, take several steps forward. Change is scary, and it is not under your control. But you don’t need to step back into your own o

Make Ice Cream in a Bag

 This recipe will allow you to make tasty vanilla ice cream in only ten minutes!  Here’s the video of how to make it, then there will be pictures of the finished product below!  Half a cup of milk  Some vanilla 1 tablespoon sugar  4 cups of ice 4 tablespoons salt  2 medium sized ziplocs 1 really big ziploc Pics are coming soon!
