12 inspiring room decor ideas

 1. Blue purple marbled frame. Paint a frame with blue and purple colors, then squiggle brush to create marbled effect.

 2. Simple butterfly statement piece. Just empty a soda can, print out a butterfly pic, and tape it over the can.

3. Heart scented candle. Draw a heart on a jar with a sharpie. Paint the rest of the jar. Take a tea light and dip the wick in a scented essential oil.
4. Black flame jar. Fill a jar with beads. Add colored tissue paper.
5. Tissue paper banner. Take a knitting needle, and tie a string to hang it up. Grab some tissue paper in various colors. Fold a sheet of tissue in half until you’ve made a skinny rectangle. Fold it over the needle, and pierce through it. Repeat until you have all the colors on there.
6. Projector glass art. Print out a simple image (look at the cloud image below) and lay a sheet of glass on top. Trace it in one color of sharpie. Put the finished product behind the curtain. When the light shines through it it will reflect on the opposite wall.

7. Dream big unicorn cloud poster. Print out a cloud picture. Glue it to thick white card stock. Trim the edges as needed. Write your message in sharpie on the image. Add gold or silver ribbon.
8. Bead pouch. Print out an image. Cut open a ziploc bag and trim off the edges until you have only the soft plastic. Tape or glue the edge of the plastic. Fill it with beads.
9. Cut open another ziploc bag. Scribble over it in any markers other than sharpie. Add water then press down on card stock with your message written on it.
10. Mermaid canvas. Paint a canvas blue and purple, then blend to create an ombré effect. Take a cut apart ziploc and press down into the paint while it is still wet.
11. Chubby animal paintings. Print out your images. Paint canvases, then while it is wet, press down the animal. Paint over the canvas again.
12. Pom Pom door decor. Wrap a bunch of thread around your fingers. Tie it in place. Slip the string off your hand, then tie another piece of string around the whole Pom Pom. Cut the strings in either side, trim down, and roll to create Pom Pom. You can make a simple tassel to attach like I did, by cutting a bunch of threads the same length and tying them to the Pom Pom.
