Fun things to do on the weekend!

 Happy Sunday everyone! If you’re looking for things to do right now, look no further than this post!

1. Catch up on chores with family members. I know this might not sound fun, but if you listen to an engaging audio book or podcast, it will go by in a flash! Make it a competition to complete the most jobs among the family members, and host an awards ceremony at the end. 

2. Game marathon! Let everyone pick a game, and blare some music!

3. Cook dinner together. Serve it in a “restaurant” in the dining room, and either wait on your kids, or have them wait on you! 

4. Have a movie night.

5. Read some Bible. Worship doesn’t have to end after Church! 

6. Solve an escape room or murder mystery!

7. Do a puzzle together.

8. Make crafts together! A good family friendly craft and cup monsters, which you can find a blog post for on the Cool Christian Crafter!

9. Read together. Let everyone pick a book, and sit on the couch to hang out.

10. Mix up some drinks. Like lemonade for the kids and “adult” lemonade for the grownups!  😜🍸🥃🍹

 Here is a handy to do list now that the Christmas season is really upon us. I hope this will help you stay organized while appreciating the spirit and joy of this holiday. We all know they can get a little stressful, but if we keep organized and focus on blessings and gratitude, there is nothing we can’t handle.  1. Put up your decorations. A Socially Awkward Teen

 Hi! So recently, I decided to go shopping. I’m not normal a huge shopper, but it was my great grandma’s 90th birthday and I needed a nice dress for pictures. So I decided to go to Ross Dress For Less. Don’t judge me. Now, as you probably know, in a Ross Dress For Less, anything goes.  Anyway, I was having trouble finding a dress that I would wear to a 90th birthday party and not a Vegas Night Club. But I just couldn’t. So I decided I would probably wear something I already had.  But, being the homeschooled quarantine socially awkward teen that I am, I was so petrified that someone would think I had done something wrong if I didn’t buy a dress. So I got a dress and headed to the fitting rooms. I got my clothes number and headed to a stall. The lock was a bit janky but I managed. I went back out and headed for my cart but was stopped by a worker who said I needed to give him my card. I did not have my card.  He forced me to go back to the changing room TWICE but I couldn’t find anything

Easiest Slime Recipe

  This is such an easy slime recipe you’ll hardly believe it!  Just mix up 4 cups of shaving cream, four tablespoons of contact solution, and 2 cups of glue. Add food coloring if you want. Then you just mix it until it feels like your arm will fall off. Easy as that.  Have fun slime makers!
