DIY Disney-themed party decor!

Who doesn’t love the Disney Movies? Here are party ideas for all of your favorite movies, including Encanto and the Little Mermaid.

Encanto:

For our Encanto themed room, we got lots of plastic flowers to drape along the doorway and bookcases.

Make a card that says, “let’s be clear (insert birthday person’s name here) runs this show!”

Have charades where you act out a specific character from the movie

Make a candle by wrapping a paper towel roll in printer paper and adding some sparkly card stock flames

Make a scavenger hunt to find Encanto themed items around the room

Make dares for good measure

Make Isabella’s flower out of poster board. Cut out shapes that look like circles with tabs on the end out of poster board. Make around seven large ones, eight medium ones, and ten little ones. Fold one large shape on top of the other until it bends 3D. Continue layering petals, then spray paint

Use pink and yellow streamers for the colorful Madrigal house

Print out a picture of the birthday person’s face and attach it to the Encanto door!

Frozen:

Cut out paper snowflakes and tape blue ribbon on the back. Hang them up in your room’s doorway

Throw cotton balls all around to make snowballs

Make a photo shoot backdrop out of printed Frozen pictures and blue streamers taped to the walls

Set out a platter of Sven’s carrots to munch on

Hold an Olaf making contest by sticking pretzels into marshmallows

Lady and the Tramp:

Cut out cat faces and paste them on toilet paper rolls. Roll a “meatball” (basketball covered in brown card stock) to knock them down and make your own bowling

Flip wine glasses upside down and throw scrunchies on the stems in your own ringtoss

Braid some yellowish rope together to make a long noodle. Limbo

Have Bella Note going in the background

Make a sign that says “Tony’s Restaurant!”

Cook up some vegetarian meatballs and spinach pesto pasta! 😋

101 Dalmatians:

Use black and white streamers

Set out some FAUX furs

Make some bone cookies out of shortbread with a sign that says “dog treats”

Make foam collars with everyone’s name on them

Write out a hundred and one things you love about the birthday person

Make a pin the tail on the Dalmatian board

Cut out and hide dog bone biscuits out of paper for everyone to “sniff” out

Have the movie playing in the background

Beauty and the Beast:

Tape a name tag to a clock and a candle that says Lumiere and Cogsworth

Dye some hummus gray for the gray stuff

Color your own dancing plates (paper please)

Use yellow streamers like Belle’s dress

Get the birthday person a bouquet of roses

Little Mermaid:

Use blue streamers in the doorway to go under the sea

Sing along to some Little Mermaid Karaoke

Make some blue mermaid punch

Cut out some shells and sand dollars from construction paper

Have a movie night of all the Disney Movies under the sea. Eat popcorn in your decorated plate

Happy Party Planning! Love you all!
