Best Craft Trends of 2023!

It’s a new year, and that means new trends! Here are some of the best new craft trends I’ve rounded up to inspire you! 

RESIN CRAFTS:

this is a huge and popular craft where you can make just anything by mixing some chemicals and pouring them into a mold. 

UPCYCLING: 

This means you turn something old into something new. You can repaint and upholster an old chair, add some fringe to a faded jacket, and sequin up your dirty sneakers.

DOT PAINTING:

This is super easy and you’ll see in my INSPIRING ART PROJECT post, I use the same technique. Just squeeze different color paint in dots all around a canvas, and wipe with a paper towel or sponge to complete your painting. 

DISCO CRAFTING:

You know those mirror tiles that line disco balls? Well, you can get some and use them on potted plants, tables, chairs, and practically anything to decorate your room. And when the light hits it, WHOO BABY! 

FASHION DESIGN: 

Making your own clothes is super in. And, since I love fashion design, you can find a ton of my posts on the subject. Start simple is my advice. Sew something extra to a ratty pair of jeans. Then work your way up to using a Simply pattern (theirs are the easiest) and making a shirt or maxi dress.

NATURE CRAFTS:

Bring the outside in with leave wreaths, stone terrariums, and flower epoxy resin crafts.
