Inspiring Painting Tutorial!

 Who doesn’t love painting? 

If you follow along through my tutorials you can end up with an amazing piece of artwork you can use as a present or a piece of home decor. 

You’ll need some basic painting supplies - Paint (obviously), paintbrushes, a cup with rinsing water, a scrap of paper towel, and a canvas. You’ll also need masking tape or decorative tape to complete the cool effect! Have fun everybody!

Take off the washi tape now! 


Final ideas: 

Try this washi tape stencil idea in different ways! 

Reverse it: have the night sky in the triangle and the sunset all around! 

Why I like this painting: 

Two reasons. 

1. You can make it as abstract or as sharply defined as you want. 
2. It symbolizes the ability to see light in darker times, which is basically the whole motto of my blog!

A Socially Awkward Teen

 Hi! So recently, I decided to go shopping. I’m not normal a huge shopper, but it was my great grandma’s 90th birthday and I needed a nice dress for pictures. So I decided to go to Ross Dress For Less. Don’t judge me. Now, as you probably know, in a Ross Dress For Less, anything goes.  Anyway, I was having trouble finding a dress that I would wear to a 90th birthday party and not a Vegas Night Club. But I just couldn’t. So I decided I would probably wear something I already had.  But, being the homeschooled quarantine socially awkward teen that I am, I was so petrified that someone would think I had done something wrong if I didn’t buy a dress. So I got a dress and headed to the fitting rooms. I got my clothes number and headed to a stall. The lock was a bit janky but I managed. I went back out and headed for my cart but was stopped by a worker who said I needed to give him my card. I did not have my card.  He forced me to go back to the changing room TWICE but I couldn’t find anything

Easiest Slime Recipe

  This is such an easy slime recipe you’ll hardly believe it!  Just mix up 4 cups of shaving cream, four tablespoons of contact solution, and 2 cups of glue. Add food coloring if you want. Then you just mix it until it feels like your arm will fall off. Easy as that.  Have fun slime makers!
