Best Craft Hacks

Want to make crafting easier? Read my post to learn how to sharpen scissors and much more!

Trust me, crafting will never be the same.

. Fold fabrics around cardboard squares. It helps them keep their shape.

. Hot glue on parchment paper. You can hot glue any shape on parchment paper, and, after it dries, just peel it up.

. Make your own spray dyes. Spray dyes are great in art journals or sprayed on bags. Just swirl around about two tablespoons of paint and a quarter of a teaspoon of water in a spray bottle.

. Wrap presents with washi tape. If you don’t want to go to the trouble of doing something fancy with your wrapping job, simply overlap different colors of decorative tape in plaid designs or ombré.

. Sharpen those scissors. Just cut some aluminum foil with your dull scissors to get them nice and sharp.

. Make some homemade thank you notes and keep them on hand. You never know when you’re going to need to thank some one, but don’t have enough time to DIY a card on the spot.

. Save your boxes. Cardboard boxes are valuable crafting materials. Make them into dioramas or cars.

. Trash art. Have some trash like cans and bottles lying around? Consider trying out trash art. There are thousands of good ideas online. Check them out!

. Painting trick: Paint the canvas all white before you start.

. Cloud hack: Paint a sky and while the paint is still wet, blot with a paper towel to create a cloud texture.

I hope all these hacks were helpful! I use all of these and they have definitely helped. Love you everybody! Have a great crafty day!
