Art Journaling - Documenting Precious Moments

 Yes, I have done a lot of art journal posts during the life of this blog. But we’re entering the holiday season and lots of plans are being made every day. So I think we need a post on how to keep track of it all by art journaling. 

Some of my favorite tools are: 

Sponge brushes 

Spray Inks 

Water chamber brush pens

Acrylic Paint

Matte Opaque gesso 


But we will use lots of tools so have all of your crafting gizmos at hand!

This was what my arm looked like after this project. 
That’s a sure sign of fun crafting! 

Here is a fun way to make an art journal stamp calendar! 
I then wrote my daily itinerary in the stamp boxes once they dried. I love the compass road because it symbolizes the adventures you can encounter while wandering the paths of life. This page also stands out after such a funky, bright page!  
This final calendar technique uses paint sticks. But feel free to use a rounded sponge brush and regular paint as well.

 Here is a handy to do list now that the Christmas season is really upon us. I hope this will help you stay organized while appreciating the spirit and joy of this holiday. We all know they can get a little stressful, but if we keep organized and focus on blessings and gratitude, there is nothing we can’t handle.  1. Put up your decorations. A Socially Awkward Teen

 Hi! So recently, I decided to go shopping. I’m not normal a huge shopper, but it was my great grandma’s 90th birthday and I needed a nice dress for pictures. So I decided to go to Ross Dress For Less. Don’t judge me. Now, as you probably know, in a Ross Dress For Less, anything goes.  Anyway, I was having trouble finding a dress that I would wear to a 90th birthday party and not a Vegas Night Club. But I just couldn’t. So I decided I would probably wear something I already had.  But, being the homeschooled quarantine socially awkward teen that I am, I was so petrified that someone would think I had done something wrong if I didn’t buy a dress. So I got a dress and headed to the fitting rooms. I got my clothes number and headed to a stall. The lock was a bit janky but I managed. I went back out and headed for my cart but was stopped by a worker who said I needed to give him my card. I did not have my card.  He forced me to go back to the changing room TWICE but I couldn’t find anything

Easiest Slime Recipe

  This is such an easy slime recipe you’ll hardly believe it!  Just mix up 4 cups of shaving cream, four tablespoons of contact solution, and 2 cups of glue. Add food coloring if you want. Then you just mix it until it feels like your arm will fall off. Easy as that.  Have fun slime makers!
