Gilmore Girls birthday party

Woohoo it’s party time! Today we’re making Gilmore Girls’ Stars Hollow come to life! We have treats, games, and decor ideas to help you!

Oy with the poodles already!

Above we have a picture of Sookie’s cake, Clyde, decorated with edible butterflies and whipped cream frosting.

We found this fun T-shirt to wear.

Here is our Gilmore Girls movie marathon viewing station, the black, white, and read movie theater!

Don’t forget the Red Vines!

So, here we have a Gilmore Girls snack bar. On one side we made Asia, just like Lorelai did for Rory. We found red streamers and gold lanterns to set the mood, then ordered Chinese food, did origami, and set up a dessert sushi bar. On the other side we did classic Gilmore Girls snack foods. Pop tarts with one apple in the middle, ring pops, a single bottle of water, and chips. We also made the monkey lamp and set out the bop-it.

Here we have a seasons test just like Richard Gilmore. I am a clear winter.
We taped up quotes everywhere.

Kirk got taped to the toilet. We thought it was fitting.

We hid some Rory-type books on our bookcases to find. The quote above was taped on the door.

We had to do the “I smell snow” bit, and filled a room with white streamers, cotton balls, and snowy quotes. The activities for this room were a snowball fight and a snowball building contest (bonus points if it looks like Bjork).

We created the town square complete with a knitting festival, a sign, and a present station.

Ms. Patty’s dance studio!

Make a dance game by typing out different things to dance on your device.
Ideas:
Kirk cycle of life
Ballet
Stress tap dancing
Stars Hollow the musical kick line

Print out your list and cut out each prompt.

Use these food ideas to make your party extra tasty!

The dragonfly inn!
You don’t really need a thousand yellow daisies, but a few never hurt. . .
Don’t forget Clyde, muffin bottom pie, and Michel’s twelve blueberries.
Hide Paw Paw and find him before he chews both of Taylor’s shoes!

I hope you have tons of ideas and are inspired to make your own party!
God loves you, have fun, and copper boom!
